Ben’s Day

January 2, 2009 at 5:52 PM (Food, Holidays, Movies, Pets, Saving Money)

In a previous blog, we talked about how we are giving each other free gifts for Christmas this year.  The free gifts were requested by each of us.

Well, yesterday was Ben’s Day.  We started the day off with ribs for breakfast.  No, I’m not kidding.  🙂  Most of you probably know that Ben loves meat!  So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there was a meat theme to the day.  We then started our Lord of the Rings movie marathon.  For lunch,  I made reubens.  Later, for a snack, we ate more ribs.  And, for dinner, we had peanut butter and banana sandwiches.  At Ben’s request, all of the meals were made by me.  I also “fetched” drinks and snacks for him throughout the day.  Thank goodness it was only for one day!

We didn’t quite make it through all 3 movies but came really close.  We hope to finish the last movie tonight.  All in all, it was a very relaxing day full of stuff that made Ben happy.  Quite a gift indeed!  Check out the pics below!

Stephanie Day is tomorrow.  Stay tuned for pics of Ben doing lots of cleaning and other household tasks. 😉
