Ben recently wrapped our nephew’s Christmas presents and I caught him in action. Notice the Transformers wrapping paper.

Need something quick and elegant to take to a gathering? I highly recommend making these tomato, mozzarella, and basil kabobs. Simply cut several grape tomotoes in half, snip some basil leaves into small pieces, and buy a container of fresh mozzarella balls. Thread a toothpick with one ball of mozzarella in the center, one piece of basil on each side of the mozzarella, and one half of a grape tomato on each end. Voila! I came across this recipe a while back and there are many variations. You could drizzle olive oil on the kabobs or sprinkle them with Italian seasoning. The possibilities are endless but they are all simple, fresh, and tasty! We’ve made these for two gatherings now and they are always popular. Enjoy!

- Mailing off what I hope is my LAST tuition payment ever to Clemson. $1095 for one credit hour. Ouch!
- Watching Ben help our nephew Darius set up his first email account ever. He’s 7 years old.
- Trying out Google Wave for the first time. It’s different but I think it has incredible potential.
- Finally convincing Blair to start using Gmail.
- Seeing a package of empty snail shells sold with the snails themselves in a can. Ugh!
